Not tigers. But the birdlife around the ridge is genuinely worth carrying binoculars for.
Guests sometimes arrive expecting big mammals. The realistic list is smaller and, if you slow down, more interesting.
Birds
Oriental pied hornbills cross the valley most mornings, and the pine grove holds drongos, barbets and several bulbul species. Early morning near the orchard is the best spot.
Around the cottages
Squirrels, monitor lizards along the lower path, and in the warmer months a good deal of butterfly activity around the flowering trees near the plunge pool.
